The Service lets you place and receive phone calls over the internet using a US phone number you rent from us, and receive (but not send) text messages. It depends on third-party providers and internet connectivity and may be interrupted or unavailable at any time. Incoming calls ring in the app only while you are signed in and connected; if you miss a call it is not forwarded or recorded, and you will see it as a missed call in the app. Calling is limited to US and Canada numbers.
The Service does not support 911 or any emergency calls. Use a traditional phone line or mobile phone for emergencies.
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You must give a real email address and keep it current. We verify it with a code we email you. You are responsible for all activity on your account.
You must not use the Service to: commit or attempt fraud, scams, phishing or impersonation; place robocalls, auto-dialed, spam or unsolicited marketing calls or texts; spoof or misrepresent caller identity; harass, threaten or stalk anyone; violate any law (including telemarketing, Do Not Call and caller ID laws); or interfere with the Service or evade our limits. We may monitor usage patterns for abuse.
We may suspend or terminate your account and release your number immediately, without refund of unused credit where permitted by law, if we believe you have breached these terms or if required by a carrier, provider or legal authority. We keep call and payment records and may disclose them to law enforcement or other authorities when we believe the law requires it or to prevent fraud or harm.
A number costs $[4.99] per 30 days, charged from your credit balance. You do not own the number; it is rented to you. If your balance cannot cover renewal, outbound calling is paused, and after a [3]-day grace period the number is released and may be given to someone else. We do not currently support number porting.
Calls are charged at $[0.15] per minute (billed in whole minutes) from prepaid credit. Call credit starts at $2. Prices may change with notice in the app. You can buy a number on its own or buy credit on its own. Payment is currently by cryptocurrency through a third-party payment processor; card payments (Paystack, PayPal) may be added. Crypto payments are generally final; credit is non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise or at our discretion. Credit has no cash value and cannot be transferred. You are responsible for network fees and for sending the exact amount requested.
You can receive texts only. We do not guarantee delivery. Many companies refuse to send verification codes to internet-based numbers, and we are not responsible if a service rejects your number. Received texts are deleted after [30] days. If a code or message passes through our systems, our operators could technically access it; do not use the Service for highly sensitive verification.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee call quality, delivery, uptime or that numbers will work with every service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or accounts. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
We may update these terms; continued use after notice means you accept them. You may stop using the Service at any time; unused credit is not refunded unless required by law.
